3 Questions with Kamryn Lydens of Coweta High School
VYPE: If you were stranded on an island, who are three people you would want there with you?
Lydens: I would want my best friend Danielle because she does a lot of hiking and camping and probably has the highest chance of survival and I’m pretty sure she likes me enough to try and keep me alive as well. My sister Karsyn because if given a pointy object I’m pretty sure she could do some damage to whatever dangers were with us on the island, and Bear Grylls because aside from the obvious, we’ll also need adult supervision. I don’t trust us to not find some way to accidentally set the island on fire. I just don’t.
VYPE: What is your go-to pregame and post-game meal?
Lydens: My pregame and post-game meals mostly consist of whatever I can find in the fridge, but a good turkey sandwich has never led me astray.
VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates?
Lydens: I love the diversity of personalities found on the team. There are so many different types of girls and there is someone to vibe with for everyone. I like the competitiveness too, when we push ourselves and each other in that friendly, encouraging way that screams “I’m here. I’ve got you. we’re going to rise together.”
