VYPE: What grade are you currently in and how long have you been playing basketball?
Macee Matthews: I am a senior and I have been playing basketball since 2nd grade.
VYPE: What teammate can you beat in a game of pig?
MM: Tayen Allen.
VYPE: Who is the greatest basketball player of all time?
MM: The greatest player is Kobe Bryant.
VYPE: What is the toughest gym to play in over the road?
MM: The toughest place to play is McAlester.
VYPE: What opponent do you look forward to playing this season?
MM: I look forward to playing Will Rogers.
VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life and why?
MM: My parents because they’ve always taught me to keep going and never give up. They’ve been there for me every step of the way.
VYPE: What is your favorite subject in school? Explain.
MM: My favorite subject this year is Psychology. I enjoy learning about the brain and human behaviors.
VYPE: What other clubs or groups are you involved in at school?
MM: I am involved in the National Honor Society.
VYPE: What are your plans for after graduation?
MM: I will be attending Missouri Southern where I will continue my academic and athletic career.
