VYPE: What grade are you in, and how long have you been playing baseball? What position do you play?
MI: I am currently in 11th grade at Coweta High School. I have been playing baseball since I was three years old. I am a pitcher and a 3rd baseman.
VYPE: Who has been the biggest influence on your baseball journey and why?
MI: My biggest influence has always been my sister. She has constantly pushed me to be better than I could have ever imagined.
VYPE: What’s your proudest moment on the field so far?
MI: My proudest moment on the field was definitely starting in regionals and only giving up one hit to send my team to the semifinals.
VYPE: What’s the most challenging part of playing baseball at your level?
MI: The most challenging part of playing at my level has to be the insane amount of talent out there and trying to push yourself to be better than them.
VYPE: How do you handle pressure during close games?
MI: How I personally handle pressure in close games is by having the mindset that whether I’m pitching or hitting, I’m better than whoever I’m facing. No matter who it is, you have to be confident or you’ve already lost.

VYPE: What skill are you currently working hardest to improve?
MI: The skill I’m working hardest on at the moment is definitely my pitching.
VYPE: How do your teammates inspire or challenge you?
MI: My teammates challenge and inspire me by pushing me nonstop. They have high expectations, so I work my butt off to surpass their expectations every time.
VYPE: What do you enjoy most about your coach’s style or leadership?
MI: What I like most about our coaches’ leadership is how close we all are and how good our chemistry is. Our coaches play a big part in that because they see things in us that we don’t see in ourselves and help us believe in it.
VYPE: How do you see baseball fitting into your future, either in college or beyond?
MI: I see myself committing to one of the top colleges in the nation and becoming one of the most dominant pitchers in SEC baseball.
