“She is always in the right place at the right time, and is a big part of our teams success.” -Coach Jade Allison
VYPE: What do your teammates and team mean to you?
Boone: They are my best friends. Many of which I have been playing with since fourth grade. We play ball together, we hang out outside of school, our parents know each other, and we always push each other to do the best we know we can do. The team as a whole has been really connected so far this season, which I love. I love how supportive we are and how much we hype each other up on and off the court.
VYPE: What does it mean to be the unsung hero of the team? How do you define that term?
Boone: An unsung hero to me is a person who makes contributions without being in the spotlight. I’m happy that my efforts are contributing to the overall success of the team and hope to continue doing what it takes to help the team this season.
VYPE: What grade are you in and what are your plans after you graduate?
Boone: I’m a junior and haven’t made any concrete plans for what I’ll do after high school yet.
