Players to Watch

Baseball

Max Knight – Bixby

Knight is committed to play baseball at Oklahoma State University. He is a left handed hitter and pitcher and will play center field this season. He hits for average as well as for power and is extremely talented. 

Landon Flusche – Broken Arrow

Landon will be the teams number one pitcher going into the season and he pitched well his sophomore season. He’s a 6’4 right handed pitcher and will play first base and DH. Landon has a lot of potential to be a great player.

Liam Taylor – Coweta

Liam is a junior at Coweta who has been a huge asset on the mound for the Tigers. He is also a vital part of the infield and leadership on the team

Jack James – Jenks

Left Hand Pitcher who has signed with Eastern Junior College. Beat Owasso to make it to the State Finals. He is an outstanding team leader. 

Ty Pennington – Charles Page

Three year starter at first base and also the three year starter at quarterback on the football team. He is a  leader and hard worker.

Kaiden Ashton – Sapulpa

A four year starter, has never missed a game. Signed to play at NEO. Two-time Oklahoma State Games participant. Center fielder with speed, power, and average. 

Boys Soccer

Jase Cuckler – Bixby

An outstanding soccer player with a high soccer IQ. He is a great leader on the team.

Diego Zaidle – Booker T Washington

He is a determined and motivated player. He works very hard and always wants to get better. He motivates the team and encourages them to focus and challenge themselves.

Mason Kidd – Coweta

Mason is a hard working athlete that continues to get better. An outstanding leader for the younger players to look up to.

Nathan Treat – Jenks

Nathan has made a rapid rise to the varsity level as a sophomore and junior. He possesses pace, power, skill, and soccer intellect. Nathan is a very dynamic player to watch on both sides of the ball as he is a threat going forward as well as retreating to defend for his team. 

Shawn Hayes – Charles Page

Shawn is an outstanding athlete that has worked himself into the role of team leader. 

Keefer Garden – Sapulpa

Keefer is a true impact player. His ball skills and decision making make him a true threat for other teams whether in the role of center back or center mid. His size and speed will most certainly be a handful for opponents this season.

GIrls Soccer

Keira Ley – Bishop Kelley

The Lady Comets will call on Ley to be a key player for them this season. 

Andra Mohler – Bixby

Andra has a full ride to Kansas State next year. She is very dangerous anywhere on the field. She scored some big goals against Jenks in an upset win in the playoffs. Her attitude and character is amazing. 

Mya Gildon – Glenpool

A senior with good skill and speed. Forward with good movement and ability to find space.

Hannah Wright – Jenks

Great communication and leadership skills, respected by all players, never ending commitment to her position and teammates and fearless effort one hundred percent of the time. 

Karsen Lynch – Charles Page

Karsen is a four year varsity player that has given her all to the program all while maintaining a 3.78 GPA. Karsen is a center midfielder that can bring out the best in anyone that she comes into contact with on or off the field. Karsen was recently accepted to Rogers State University where she signed to play soccer and is pursuing a degree in nursing.

Asia Dunn – Sapulpa

Asia is only a sophomore and is a very skilled athlete.  She is a tall, fast, skilled player who can shoot, defend, and play any position.

Brian will be one of the younger players for the Spartans, but he will look to have a bigger role.

Franklin brings a lot of potential to the Tigers.

Connor Barnett – Coweta

Connor is a solid athlete that has worked hard and is ready to help his team. 

Tanner Primeaux – Jenks

A great all-around kid and athlete, Tanner is ready to make an impact for the Trojans.

Eli Buxton – Charles Page

Eli looks to have a big season for the Sandites this year. 

Jack Blevins – Sapupla

Jack has skills and talent to become a key player for his school.

Dylan is a hard worker and also a great teammate.

She is a great kid that has added agility to her game.

Ramsey enjoys the competitiveness of the game and works hard to be her best.
